Has COVID-19 interrupted your shipping?
As of April 1, production and delivery of prints ordered from this site will go through my print partners, who are still operational. They are closely following CDC safety guidelines and are operating with minimal staff. Your order may take a little longer than usual. Once it arrives, please practice smart handling just like you would with any delivery these days.
As for original art, I am shipping out any orders on a bi-weekly basis, to limit the number of trips to Canada Post. I will be handling and packing your art personally, taking the utmost care to ensure safety. When you receive your order, please remember to practice safe handling procedures. I hope your new artwork brings joy to your home!
What is your shipping Policy?
When you're ready to purchase, rest assured that I will carefully package your art to ensure a safe journey. For original artwork, I use Canada Post and will ship your original art with 2-10 days. In most cases, I will be providing you with a tracking number. Shipping costs are presented during the check out process. If you live in Mississauga or the surrounding area, I'll be happy to deliver your art to you in person. At the moment, I'm only shipping originals to Canada and the US. If you're from outside this area and would like to purchase an original, shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do.
Should you encounter any issues, please feel free to contact me and I'll work with you to make it right.
How about for Prints or Merch?
For art prints, I have partnered with the Toronto firm, Print Partner. Prints will usually be shipped out between 5 and 10 days after ordering, and a tracking number will be supplied. I monitor this account closely, so if you encounter a problem, please feel free to contact me directly. My suppliers for merchandise like tote bags, mugs, and t-shirts are in the United States, so shipping rates from the US apply (unfortunately, that means Canadian orders have higher shipping costs. Sorry). The may take a bit longer, depending on what is ordered, but things seem to move fairly quickly these days.
You don't do International Shipping?
The thing about shipping internationally is that many countries will charge duty or VAT on art when it crosses the border. How much depends on the value of the product. I'm based in Canada, and since original art and prints are exempt from duty for the USA under NAFTA, I will happily ship to the United States. If you are looking to purchase something and are wondering about any extra charges that may be incurred upon delivery, send me an email and I'll do my best to get you the information you need, based on your location. And we can work it out from there.
What is your Policy on Returns/Exchanges/Refunds?
I want my clients to be 100% thrilled with their new art. If you're not for any reason, please contact me and I'll work with you to exchange it for another piece or offer you a refund (minus shipping costs). If you receive your new work and it is damaged, don't worry. If it's a print, it will be replaced, and if it's an original, I will refund your payment or offer you an exchange for another piece if that works for you.
How can I keep up with your new work?
There are a couple ways...
• When I release a new original, I send out emails to my collectors. You can sign up for my email list if you would like notifications.
• I post to my blog... not regularly, but I try to keep to an approximate bi-weekly schedule. I post all kinds of stuff... links I found useful or interesting, process stuff, inspiration, new works, and the occasional bit of info for other artists. You can sign up to get my blog posts delivered right in your inbox.
• I post a lot on social media...particularly Instagram and Facebook. Follow me there. I'm also on YouTube, TikTok and Threads, though posting is a bit less frequent.
And if something grabs your attention? Feel free to DM or email me and let me know. I'm always interested.
What is your Privacy Policy?
As an e-commerce website, I do collect some information from my visitors. When you order a print, that information is shared with my print supplier. My hosting platform, Art Storefronts, also has access to that information. We use cookies to enable the proper functioning of the website. I have the whole thing written out, and you can read it here. Should you want your information deleted, just email me and let me know.
